If you don’t have time to shop all those party season essentials then I’ve got one single purchase that will cover all of your bases…
With Christmas almost here, party season is truly upon us. Whether it’s your annual Christmas Jumper night out, your works Christmas party or if you’re saving yourself for the New Years shindings…whatever the celebration, it’s party o’clock soon right? So with that said it’s also one of the busiest times of the year – shopping for gifts, decorating the house, managing workloads for some much needed time out…there’s always so much to do. And as fun as it all is, it can make it tricky to get the things you need to make the most of your party prep. But now your problems are solved with one single purchase to cover all your beauty bases. So that you’re free to focus on decorating the tree, watching the Christmas movies and indulging in as many mince pies as you can manage.
Latest in Beauty have come to the rescue with this years Grazia – The Party Prep Edit which is a limited edition beauty box stocked full of all the products you need to look and feel great. This edit is hand picked by the Beauty Team at Grazia, who have excellent taste and some of the best industry knowledge. In fact, they also released a Advent Calendar with Latest In Beauty a few months back which I unboxed on my YouTube channel and was a fantastic treat. So I can vouch for the products they recommend personally.
The Party Prep Edit features 20 products and a huge 10 of them are full size. Which is what I like to hear about my beauty edits! It’s also worth over £220 and the price is £50. So for £50 you get a whole beauty regime to cover all the bases and get you completely kitted out for party season. In the box are hair, make up, skincare and fragrance picks – literally every step of your party preparation is covered in this box.
So what’s inside?
Well, what’s not?! Some of the stand out products for me would have to be the Nars Laguna bronzer, which is one of my most-used and most highly recommended bronzing powders. It’s the most versatile cool-toned colour that works so well with my skin tone and it’s matte which is actually quite hard to find these days. This one is a travel size, so it’s perfect for applying while you’re getting party ready but it also then fits into your handbag for top ups while you’re out. This is guaranteed to become a staple for you if it’s not already.
There’s also a 30ml travel sized Bumble & Bumble Glow Thermal Protection Mist which is not only totally practical because everyone should be using a heat protection spray on their hair, but it’s also great for a night out because it encourages shine on the surface of the hair and it rebuilds natural condition so locks look healthier and more shiny overall.
One of the first steps a lot of us girls like to undertake when getting ready for party season is tanning and this edit has that in mind with a full sized Sienna X Sleep Q10 Tinted Self Tan Mousse. Applied before bed this mousse absorbs into skin really fast and nourishes too because it’s also formulated with vitamin E to soften the skin. So no more drying tans that go patchy – hurray! I’ve used Sienna Tan before and they’ve always performed really well so I have high hopes for this. I love that the gang at Grazia and Latest in Beauty covered the tanning stage of party prep within this box.
You’ll also find a travel size of the Benefit Precisely My Brow Pencil too. This is shade 3.5 so it’s the ‘middle’ shade of their range which means hopefully a lot of people can use it a little. It’s about 2 shades too light for me but it does still help fill in the brows, while I outline them with my normal shade. So it’s a good stand-by product. However you’re winning at life if it’s your actual shade because the precision on this pencil is perfect for fine brow strokes that work well all the way through. It’s one of my everyday brow tools in the correct shade and I use mine religiously. Plus I was really excited to find Benefit in this edit.
A novelty item that’s exactly the sort of thing you’d want to try out in party season is the full sizes Miller Harris Scherzo Tattoo Pen which means you can give yourself a temporary tattoo that can wash off when the night’s over but it’s also scented with the most unique and beautiful scent from the brand. Perfect for wrist faux-tattoo’s that will keep your pulse points smelling beautiful no matter how late you’re out. The edit also features a 2ml tester of the eau de parfum in the same scent so you can have the stronger variant to spritz up with when you want to.
One beauty surprise for me was the stunning and full sized Topshop Lipstick that was one of the last products I took out of my box. I tried Topshop beauty years back and quite liked the products but wasn’t aware they’d relaunched. This lipstick has done all sorts for increasing my curiosity because it’s the most perfect nude tone for everyday and every night. It’s versatile, full sized and looks like it would work with all skin tones. What more could you want for party season? You could even finish with the Inc.Redible Full Impact Lip Gloss which is the perfect glittery disco-ready topper!
Inside the Edit you’ll also find:
>Code8 5 Seconds Express Hydrating Lip Colour (full size)
>Omorovicza Miracle Face Oil (5ml)

I think you’ll agree that for £50 that’s a seriously impressive haul in one buy, right? Everything to cover your tan, skincare, make up and hair steps of beauty. With nails and everything else added for the perfect party season finishing touches.
