I always look forward to The Sunday Times Style beauty boxes with Latest In Beauty and the India Knight Edit did not disappoint…
News on the block time: Columnist India Knight has teamed up with Sunday Times Style and created a pretty special beauty edit with Latest In Beauty. And I’ve got my hands on it – which is pretty exciting for a dreary winter weekday, right?
I always look forward to the Sunday Time Style edits with Latest In Beauty, they don’t disappoint and always feature some of my favourite brands. Plus they have the added bonus of being hand picked by the beauty and style teams so you know that everything in the edit comes fully tried, tested and recommended. Which means for the products and brands I’ve not tried before, that I can dig in with excitement and confidence.
This current edit has two collections and I got to try the India Knight collection which costs just £40 but gives you a huge £210 worth of goodies! Pretty unrivalled in terms of beauty boxes, right? Not just that but it contains 10 products with 6 being full sizes (hurray to none of the tiny testers that I just loathe finding in any type of beauty box or gift!)
So let’s look at some of my favourite picks from the box and see what you get…
COLOR WOW DREAM COAT SUPERNATURAL SPRAY
I love the Color Wow range, their hair products are lovely and if you have flyaways or frizzy hair then this is a great spray for you. It works to detangle, tame frizz and just smooth the hair right out – which is an absolute winner in my book. It also works like magic and is activated by the heat in your hairdryer, which makes it pretty nifty too. Plus it’s full size – winner.
SAM MCKNIGHT COOL GIRL BARELY THERE TEXTURE MIST
Another one for the hair lovers, the Sam McKnight Cool Girl Mist is great if you like tousled waves, beachy waves or any type of style that adds texture. This mist is a post styling spray that’s going to add some definition to your hair and just give it a natural boost of volume and lift while creating a nice and effortless texture throughout. I spritz over my hair after using my curling tongs and it just adds a bit of bounce and life that finishes the style perfectly. Plus it’s another full size.
CLINIQUE MOISTURE SURGE 72-HOUR AUTO-REPLENISHING HYDRATOR
I’m a big fan of the Moisture-Surge range from Clinique – just a very lovely and intensely hydrating daily moisturiser that’s great for keeping in your hand bag or just adding throughout the day if skin feels dry. There’s a 15ml pot in the edit so it’s great if you’ve never tried it and want to test it out, but also if you need a travel sized top up for trips or your handbag.
KIEHL’S SINCE 1851 NOURISHING DRY BODY OIL
I’m a huge lover of anything from Kiehl’s so finding a cute 40ml travel size of their Nourishing Dry Body Oil was a treat. I love applying this oil post-shower to my arms, elbows and knees as it helps to keep things nourished and looking less dry – especially in the winter! It doesn’t feel greasy when used and absorbs really fast so it’s a great dry oil for every day.
In the edit you’ll also find:
LAURA MERCIER VELOUR EXTREME MATTE LIPSTICK (travel size)
ZOEVA HERITAGE EYE CRAYON (full size)
ELEMIS PRO-COLLAGEN OVERNIGHT MATRIX (travel size)
CHARLOTTE MENSAH MANKETTI HAIR OIL (full size)
BBB LONDON ULTIMATE ARCH DEFINER (full size)
THE ORDINARY NIACINAMIDE 10% + ZINC 1% (full size)
So if you’re currently on a spending-ban for Christmas but still deserve a little treat then I can’t think of a better buy – £40 and you get all this worth over £210…What’s not to love? Snap it up before it goes though as these sell out fast. And when they’re gone, they’re gone!
