If you’re shopping for your husband, son, father or any other male in your life then you may be struggling for inspiration. Because Christmas gifts for men aren’t always as easy to get – shopping for them can be hard, right?! So here’s a Gift Guide full of inspiration to help…
No matter who’s on your Christmas list this year, there’s plenty of things out there to treat the men in your life to. My husband and Dad are notoriously hard to buy for and tend to get similar gifts each year. I always like to try and make sure that no matter what they get it’s practical, fun and/or versatile enough to be used every day. So with that said, I thought I’d put together a list of Christmas gifts for men that will help you with your own shopping and take the struggle out of knowing what to buy for them.
Swole Panda Simply Style Sock Box – £29.95
If you’ve ever struggled to buy a gift for a male at Christmas, I can guarantee that you’ve turned to socks more than once. And actually there’s nothing wrong with that – I quite like getting socks as a gift! This year though, treat them to a gorgeous Simply Style Sock Box from Swole Panda. These aren’t just normal socks, they’re bamboo socks. Crafted with a unique bamboo blend, they’re super soft and feel really luxurious when worn. They also have reinforced toe sections so there’s no more nasty holes when worn after a few months. Swole Panda have a huge variety of colours and patterns to pick from, so you can create your own style box in a sort of sock pick-n-mix. No more thinking socks are a naff gift, these take foot comfort to the next level and you can personalise your selection too. Winner.
Acqua di Parma Colonia Eau de Cologne Spray – £81
Another thing that’s great when looking for Christmas gifts for men, is a unique fragrance. I’ve said recently that I think giving the gift of fragrance is so unique when you spend time searching for something that will perfectly suit the person you’re giving it to. When you take time to find the perfect scent, you end up giving a really thought out and planned gift – which means so much more. This year the Acqua di Parma Colonia Eau de Cologne Spray is a great option – its a musky, male scent thanks to it’s base notes of Leather, Wood, Amber and Indian Patchouli – which altogether make it really endearing. Combined with a heart tone of cinnamon spice it’s got an edge that’s really sexy – trust me, this is a scent all men will love. It’s beautiful on my husband and I can’t wait to give him this as a top up because he’s loved this scent all year!
Molton Brown Coco & Sandalwood Bath and Shower Gel – £16.50
Another great scent-based product is the Molton Brown Coco & Sandalwood Bath and Shower Gel. Which is gorgeous if I do say so myself! It smells like musky chocolate and it’s got a subtle masculinity to the scent that means I know men will enjoy washing with it during their morning shower. It’s enriched with coconut fruit extract so it’s nourishing to skin too – always a winner. I find that Molton Brown is one of those brands that everyone loves to receive at Christmas – men and women alike. This is the perfect stocking filler or little treat for the man in your life and a little luxury he’ll enjoy.
John Frieda Man Hair Care – From £7.50
A very practical and everyday type of gift would be a selection of products from the John Frieda Man hair care collection. My husband really enjoys having dedicated hair care products in the shower and not just having to use mine – which are quite often for highlighted/bleached hair and don’t really work well for his dark locks. If your husband is the same then great stocking fillers would be the items from this range. They start from only £7.50 each at Boots and there’s frequently 3 for 2 offers on which gives extra value too. There’s a shampoo, conditioner, sculpting paste and grooming gel so you’ve got the hair washing essentials nailed as well as the styling products too – best of both worlds and he’ll get his own hair care regime in the shower and no longer be pinching yours!
KODAK SMILE Classic Digital Instant Camera – £149.99
As a main gift or treat, I think the KODAK SMILE Classic Digital Instant Camera is a perfect choice this year. This allows you to use the old-school method of a smile and print camera with contemporary printing technology for a nostalgic look and feel with modern features. The printer itself uses zero ink technology when printing, which is great as you won’t need cartridges/ink etc just replacement paper which can be easily purchased by the pack. The paper itself is black and sticky-back lined so that you can do so much with your instant prints and it’s a great way of creating retro style memories as a family. In addition, the camera also links to your phone and when you download the app, you can store and print photo’s via it, giving you even more options and control. Pretty nifty, right?
totes Mens Mug & Sock Gift Set – £15
When it comes to brothers, dads and uncles too (or anyone else really!) it can be hard to know what Christmas gifts for men will work best and fit the budget. I really like the totes Mens Mug & Sock Gift Set as one of the sorts of gifts I’d buy for my male family members. It’s practical because there’s a great everyday pair of socks with a cute design that’s festive and Christmassy, alongside a lovely mug for their favourite brew. I think things like this tick all the right boxes – budget-friendly, practical, versatile enough to suit everyone and festively themed as well. What more could you (or they!) want?
If You Had To Game – £16.99
When it comes to giving a gift that you can all enjoy, the If You Had To game from Firebox is a great option! I can’t wait to get this one out at Christmas, and my husband will love it. To be fair, we’ll play with my Dad and brother too, so it’s a good one for anyone as a gift! This is a fancy way of playing the traditional ‘would you rather’ and the game has lots of hilarious scenarios that you have to pick your preferred one out of. It’s a lot of fun, gives a great game and is perfect for the festive season. If there’s one time of year it’s okay to buy games that you’ll enjoy, as a gift for someone else, it’s Christmas!
Joe & Seph’s Popcorn – From £6
If you have to buy from someone who’s not a big chocolate fan then some Joe & Seph’s Gourmet Popcorn could be the perfect alternative. My husband like chocolate but it’s not his favourite (I know, HOW are we even married?!) and he prefers other things, so popcorn is much more ‘him’. This year why not consider the same if you’re buying for someone like this? The Gourmet options offer a mix of Caramel & White Chocolate, Caramel & Belgian Chocolate and Double Chocolate Popcorn and Dark Chocolate Popcorn Bites – all in one box. So there’s a lovely mix of popcorn for that salty edge, with some sweetness from the chocolate to balance it out. And I think something like this is a bit more fancy than normal chocolate as a gift, right?
So there we have it! This year’s best Christmas gifts for men to make your shopping life a little easier this festive season. There’s no need to spend hours wondering what to get the men in your life, everything is covered here to make things super easy for you – and great for them as they’ll get a gift they can enjoy!
Who said buying for men needed to be difficult, hey?
