Looking for the best beauty stocking fillers you can find this year? Never fear, I’ve got you covered….
I feel like Christmas beauty stocking fillers are different these days. Not in a bad way, but the overall perception of what constitutes a ‘stocking filler’ as opposed to a ‘main gift’ is a bit more varied. I always grew up thinking a stocking filler was a low value trinket that didn’t break the bank but was still cute and/or practical. It’s like the warm up to the main reveal of what Santa left under the tree. But nowadays it seems like stocking filler gifts have increased in value somewhat. And while I’ll never be able to justify a huge spend on something for a stocking, I do now spend more than I used to.
With that said, this year’s Stocking Filler edit follows suit with a nice variation of products across multiple price-points so there’s something for all budgets. Not just that, but there’s the practical pieces as well as the downright fun bits and bobs. Because ultimately opening your stocking fillers should be fun, right?
Here’s this year’s best beauty stocking fillers:
LAB 2 Red Clay I’m Working Kit – £19
Every beauty lover needs more brushes because it’s a well known fact that you can never have too many. So the newly released LAB 2 sets are well worth checking out. They’re infused with Red Clay which means they work towards purifying and brightening the skin while in use – pretty cool for a make up brush, right? And because they’re infused permanently, the red clay doesn’t wash away or disappear with time. This means that even while you’re applying your make up, you’re getting skincare principles, increasing circulation and they’re great towards exfoliating too.. And the I’m Working Kit has all of the complexion brushes you need to get your base nailed in one go.
Too Cool For School Egg Mellow Body Butter – £29
If you like premium body skincare products then you’ll love the Too Cool For School Egg Mellow Body Butter. While it’s pricey at £29 a pot, you’ll not regret a splurge on this one as a great beauty stocking filler this year. This rich butter contains real Egg Yolk, Egg White and Shea Butter so it sounds good enough to eat (but maybe don’t do that) and it delivers top level nourishment to dry and tired skin all the way over your body. In the same way that a high performance facial moisturiser would, this strengthens and protects the barrier function within the skin to prevent moisture loss, so it’s teaching skin to be better in the long run as well as giving instant moisturising results. Best of both and pretty cool too.
Clean Reserve Sueded Oud Eau De Parfum Travel Spray – £20
Fragrance is one of my favourite things to give and receive at Christmas. When you find the right scent it’s something so personal and unique that it earns major brownie points. And I love the fact that Clean Reserve have a selection of their best-loved scents in 10ml travel size. The most iconic is Sueded Oud which is sultry, woody and musky. It’s gentle but powerful and one of those really easy to wear fragrances. Plus it’s the perfect handbag size so you can carry it with you wherever you go. I can guaranteed you’ll want the full size after trying this one!
L’Occitane Delicious Hand Cream Trio – £21
Nothing says ‘luxury’ at Christmas more than a gift from L’Occitane. The french beauty brand have some of the most festive looking packaging this year and their gifts are always such crowd-pleasers. Who doesn’t love a treat from them in their stocking?! This year I thought that the Delicious Hand Cream Trio was a great stocking filler idea because the tin housing the products looks extra special and the creams themselves are in beautiful scents. My personal favourite has to be Jasmin Immortelle Neroli which smells beautiful. Each cream is 30ml, so the perfect handbag size and I think that good quality hand creams are a great gift because come December everyone is feeling the cold and these will keep hands nourished for longer.
Rubis Satin Elegance Tweezers – £19.50
You may not know that you need these yet, but a tiffany blue pair of the Rubis Satin Elegance Tweezers is going to make the most perfect beauty stocking filler. Until you’ve tried a really great pair of tweezers then you probably won’t know what you’re missing, but once you do, you’ll never go back. These have the finest precision point that makes plucking really easy and precise so you won’t make mistakes with these babies. Made in Switzerland they’ve been designed to give the best grip, give pulling power to the max and make the whole process quick and easy. Plus they’re tiffany blue so what’s not to love?
Sanctuary Spa Shimmer Luxe Body Butter – £14
If your body butter isn’t rose gold are you even doing body butter right? No. The Sanctuary Spa Shimmer Luxe Body Butter is a huge 300ml pot that shimmers away with a pearl/metallic appearance and it smells divine as well. It’s got an aromatic vanilla type scent that’s luscious and relaxing so it’s great for your evening moisturising after a hot bath in the chilly months. And because of the pearl/metallic-type finish you skin is left with a subtle glow and radiance that makes it perfect for party season especially on the legs and shoulders. Relax and look pretty for only £14.
Sarah Chapman Skinesis 3D Moisture Infusion Mask – £13
What can be better than a face mask for a stocking filler? Especially if you’re keen on skincare. A good face mask offers so much more than just a skin fix, it’s the reason to relax and enjoy a chilled out moment in the hectic hustle and bustle of the Christmas period. The Sarah Chapman Skinesis 3D Moisture Infusion Masks usually come in a 4 pack but you can get this card version containing a single mask as a Christmas edition. If you’ve never tried Sarah Chapman skincare then you’re missing out. As a facialist to the stars, Sarah has created products to help you replicate her celeb-worthy skincare. So really, is there a single reason not to buy one?
Fresh Enchanted Essentials – £17.50
If you remember last year I did a whole Gift Guide on the Fresh products because I find their Christmas range to be stunning and practical. This year is no different – in fact, I’m struggling to narrow down to my top picks! As a beauty stocking filler though, the Enchanted Essentials duo makes a wonderful treat. Containing a travel sized Soy Face Cleanser which is a gentle daily cleanser that even the most sensitive skin types can enjoy, it’s also accompanied by a travel size of the Fresh Sugar Lip Therapy which is an extremely nourishing and hydrating lip treatment that feels like butter on dry lips. Both products are bathroom staples of mine, and the set is super cute in design too so it’s a great gift idea!
Kat Von D Kitten Eyes Set – £15
If make up makes you as happy as it does for me, then I think you’ll appreciate the Kat Von D Kitten Eyes Set which comes in the cutest little cat eared box and contains a mini version of their best-selling mascara and eyeliner. The eyeliner is a smudge-proof pencil version and the mascara is extreme-volume and plant infused. As with all Kat Von D products it’s animal friendly and vegan friendly too. So a great performance duo and beauty conscious too – and both are great for keeping in your handbag day-to-day.
Peter Thomas Roth Mask Kit – £17
Not going to lie, Santa will be getting major brownie points and an extra Mince Pie for this one. I adore the Peter Thomas Roth face masks and this gorgeous little set gives you 5 varieties to try for only £17 – you literally can’t go wrong. The masks themselves in the 5-Piece Mask Kit are all 14ml so a good travle size that means you can try each a good amount of times before deciding if you want to invest in the full size. The set contains my personal favourite, the 24k Gold Mask Pure Luxury Lift & Firm Mask which firms, brightens and because it’s infused with caffeine it brightens and awakens skin all at once. You’re going to be set for a lot of pampering with this kit and it’s something any skincare junkie would love.
Kiehl’s Crème de Corps – £28
I had to include the Kiehl’s Crème de Corps here because it’s just swoon-worthy to look at! The limited edition design by Janine Rewell is fun, bright and cheerful – everything that good designs at this time of year should be! If you’ve never tried the Creme de Corps it’s an all over body moisturiser that’s rich and nourishing – and it smells so yummy as well. It’s great on dry skin, so it’s a winter favourite of mine anyway but the design sold it to me as a great beauty stocking filler. No-one would be disappointed to find some of this Kiehl’s loveliness in their stocking on Christmas morning.
So if you’re looking for great beauty stocking fillers this year then hopefully you’ve found some inspiration here! There’s so many of my favourite brands in this list that I can vouch for the products personally. And I know that anyone who receives a gift from this post will be giving Santa’s Elves massive brownie points this Christmas.
