The Bobbi Brown Products Filling My Dressing Table This Season

The Bobbi Brown Products Filling My Dressing Table This Season

As one of my favourite brands, Bobbi Brown continuously bring out amazing products that are designed to naturally enhance your complexion. Here’s the Bobbi Brown products that are filling my dressing table this season…

One brand that has been a stand-out favourite for me over the past year or so, is Bobbi Brown. Obviously in previous years I’d tried bits and pieces from them but it wasn’t until the past 12 months or so when I really connected with them as a brand – and fell head over heels in love with their products.

Bobbi Brown is one of those make up brands that oozes exclusivity – everything from the packaging to the shades appeals to the high-end customer, and I kinda like that because I adore premium beauty brands. And while I don’t discount the budget-friendly brands that really have upped their game in recent years, I’ll always be a premium beauty lover at heart. It’s not just this elite feel that Bobbi Brown products have, but the fact that they are the every day staples to your beauty wardrobe. They’re the every day nude lipsticks, the staple highlighters and the perfectly colour coordinated eyeshadow palettes. Everything from Bobbi Brown is designed to enhance your complexion and features – not cover or cake them. You won’t find garish colours, or unwearable tones in anything from them, only the naturally emphasised colours to work with all skin tones. And I love that, which is why their products make up a lot of my every day essentials.

So with Autumn now here and a seasonal make up mix-up happening on my dressing table, I wanted to show you which key products I’m using the most right now…

Bobbi Brown Vitamin Enriched Face Base Review

Vitamin Enriched Face Base

This product has become something I reach for every day in no time at all and I can’t recommend it highly enough. I know that so many other people say how good this is, but it wasn’t until I tried it for myself that I ultimately fell head over heels in love with it.

Effectively the Vitamin Enriched Face Base is a great skincare product that works like a make up primer. I find this is a perfect moisturiser ‘type’ cream that also gives me a really nice flawless canvas to the skin that means my make up applies beautifully with it. Containing Shea Butter that means it makes skin feel soft and supple it’s also enriched with things like Vitamins B, C and E so it’s amazing at looking after the skin as well as prepping it. Just one use and my skin looks smooth, radiant and healthy. It’s the only ‘moisturiser’ that’s given me a massive difference immediately after each use.

Also as someone with really oily skin, this is good because it’s an oil-free formula so I don’t have to worry about how it’s going to affect the secretion on my face. It’s not rich or greasy, absorbs fast and makes my skin feel fantastic. Plus my make up goes on like a dream. It’s a wonder product right here.

High Shine Liquid Eye Shadow

You all know I adore liquid eye shadows when they have a lovely metallic or glittery finish to them, so the High Shine Liquid Eye Shadows were right up my street when I saw them. And I already have two that I’m reaching for regularly and I’m desperate to pick up the other two shades in the range. I have the shades Perfect Foil and Gold Fusion which between them give me two great shades to work with. Perfect Foil is like a beautiful warm champagne colour and Gold Fusion is a brown with a bronze/gold flake of glitter or shimmer throughout.

Both work the same way and the consistency really surprised me of these – they’re basically water! They’re not like cream at all, but like actual water so you need to apply quickly! However they blend with the accompanying wand perfectly and they don’t need blending with a brush so it’s a quick way of sprucing up your eyes in a flash. I like the way they have a shimmery finish to them but it’s not glittery, because it means that I can wear them during the day and out at night too. Products like this are things I use a lot, so I know during autumn they’ll get a lot of use.

Crushed Liquid Lipstick

I have featured the Crushed Liquid Lipsticks multiple times on my blog and social media channels as they have one of my favourite lipstick formulas. Designed like a liquid lipstick – with the colour payoff to match, these apply like a gloss with a high-shine finish that’s beautiful and dimensional. The shade selection is absolutely perfect for me too as they’re all pink/nude based (with a few brighter colours to pick from) and I must admit that the summer Limited Editions were so good I’m taking them into autumn with me. East Coast Slay and West Coast Bae were both gorgeous brown toned nudes that will transition to autumn outfits and make up looks perfectly. Plus I have some great all round pink tones too for those natural looking make up days. The added moisture they give my lips too is lovely so they’re not drying, great payoff and comfortable. Win/win. I can’t fault this formula or colour range. It’s my perfect lipstick.

The Essential Multicolour Eye Shadow Palettes

I couldn’t do a seasonal make up round up without featuring an eyeshadow palette could I?! Especially as palettes are literally my favourite type of make up, ever. And the new Essential Multicolour Eye Shadow Palettes make it easy to see why I’ll be using them a lot. Such beautiful compacts, there’s five variations to pick from, and each of them offers five different shades. I have Into The Sunset which has warm tones perfect for those autumn eye looks as there’s a lovely rust tone and a rich brown in there which will blend to create some lovely eye looks. I also have the Night Smoke palette which is great for smokey eye lovers like me. The shades in this palette are more cool toned, themed around a neutral but emphasised darker smokey eye so there’s two shades in there to use as your deep crease shade and some lighter lid colours to match. Plus each palette has a large pan of neutral ‘base’ shade to blend with. These are like a complete eye look in one palette and both colour options will be great for the cooler, autumn days.

So those are the bits I’ll be keeping on my dressing table this autumn to ensure I’ve got my everyday make up sorted. I can’t recommend Bobbi Brown products enough, they’ve definitely become one of my favourite brands this year with such high quality products that perform so well and offer a hint of elegance in everything they offer.

The face base is my fave! I love just dabbing it around my nose and chin for an ‘every day’ look at work as that’s where my makeup will slide. I’ve not seen the liquid eyeshadows before, will have to give them a go! Becca x
