Did Someone Say ‘Supersize’? Because Emma Hardie Just got BIG

Did Someone Say 'Supersize' Because Emma Hardie Just got BIG

I know they say size doesn’t matter but in the case of cult skincare products I’d have to disagree. Especially when the Emma Hardie Cleansing Balm is concerned…

Having recently celebrated their 10th Anniversary, I’m a little late to the celebrations. However Emma Hardie supersizing their cult Moringa Cleansing Balm was way too much of a good thing to not chat about. Plus they have a new product too, so today’s post is dedicated to all things Emma Hardie.

Their Cleansing Balm has long since been a favourite of mine. In fact it was one of the balms that made me fall in love with this type of cleanser in the first place. It’s thorough at removing all traces of make up, dirt and daily build up. And applying it is seriously satisfying as you scoop it out of the pot and watch it literally melt away the traces of your day. Not only that but it’s really gentle too and it doesn’t dry the skin out – something I’m really thrilled about as I hate that tight skin feeling you can sometimes get after skincare sessions.

Moisturising and nourishing it leaves skin feeling soft and smooth as well as completely clean, which is everything you want from a daily cleanser, right? So when I saw that they’d super sized it, I knew I needed in on the action. For their 10th Anniversary celebrations they sized up to a huge 200g pot, and it had a cute celebratory design too. Not just that though, although I was very happy to be fully stocked up for the foreseeable, but they also added the cutest little pot of Rosehip Seeds which can be added to the balm and transforms it instantly into an exfoliating treatment. Adding the seeds gives the usually smooth balm a rough texture that will physically buff the dead skin cells away from the face and exfoliate fully. Making the little duo set a pretty nifty skincare splurge. Plus you get one of the special cloths which is designed to aid your skincare time and wipe away the product after it’s done it’s job. Pretty cool if you ask me and a very cute and exciting way to mark their anniversary. Get it here.

However if you’re looking for something you can use daily that works in a similar way to an exfoliating treatment, but is less abrasive (I’m talking about the sensitive skin folks among us) then check out the new Exfoliating Brightening Tonic. Designed to be used daily, as opposed to the above seeds which I’d recommend once or twice weekly, this is a great addition if you want a bigger Emma Hardie fix. While it buffs away everything that clogs pores, it also enhances skins natural ability to brighten and look rejuvenated, so if you’re worried about looking dull or stress about the signs of ageing then this is for you.

It retextures the surface of the skin while the pomegranate in the formula releases bacteria that gets trapped so skin is actually healthier and clearer. So it’s good for those with blemish prone skin too. Plus this one is only £28 which for a premium skincare brand is pretty good if you ask me.

So while I’m over here celebrating the HUGE supersize Cleansing Balm and enjoying the new addition to the collection, if you also love Emma Hardie then I highly recommend stocking up on some of their goodies as a winter skincare splurge.
