You’ll remember that earlier this year I was so very kindly gifted a big box of amazing products from Fresh as they launched into World Duty Free. I got to try so many of their amazing products in the rose range and found some absolute skincare gems within the selection. I had tried a couple of their products prior to this, but it was really this delivery that put Fresh on my skincare radar. Since then I’ve been using up those products and then I recently extended my collection with some new goodies as well. And I’ve been really impressed with the additions to my beauty regime.
Once a brand has convinced me of their skincare ability, they hold a firm place in my heart forever. I’m quite a tough cookie to crack when it comes to new skincare because I’m so scared to commit to regular use of new products, as it’s taken me so long to find a good system that works for me. But the great thing about the Fresh products is that they’re all really gentle to the skin with no hidden nasties, meaning they don’t make me worried I might break out or get red patches when I try something new. It’s this confidence that means I’ll happily pick up new products from Fresh when I want to.
First up on my list was a new lip balm because let’s face it, the Fresh lip balms have huge cult status and I’m as much of a fan as the next girl. I love them. But this time I went for the pot version instead of the stick, in the Sugar Coconut scent and oh my days, it smells divine! I’ve found myself using it repeatedly just because it smells so yummy! It’s probably the nicest smelling lip balm I’ve ever had – so that’s saying something. Plus it’s intensely hydrating so my lips feel really soft and nourished when I use it. I put this on once or twice a day, or whenever my lips feel dry and it solves the problem right away. Plus it’s got a really subtle shine that it leaves behind so it looks nice as a lip product too.
Next up was a new mask because I am obsessed with the Fresh masks. They’re so nice on the skin and leave me feeling like I’ve really given my skin a good bit of TLC afterwards. I loved the Rose Mask, but had heard great things about the new Fresh Vitamin C range, so this Vitamin Nectar Vibrancy Boosting Face Mask sounded just the ticket. And I can tell you now – this one feels gorgeous on the skin! I like to put this in the fridge for 10 minutes before I use it, so it’s really cooling on the face. It just makes me feel lovely and relaxed and the mask doesn’t need long to create a glow and radiance that’s quite noticeable. Not only that but it also exfoliates, so skin feels clean and clear too. Combined with the Vitamin C that creates the radiance, and the cooling sensation, it really does make skin feel transformed and look really fresh. (Pardon the pun!)
And finally, one product I had to get again was the Soy Face Cleanser. I had this included with the Rose goodies earlier in the year and it’s such a nice every day Cleanser. It’s gentle on the skin but also works really well at cleaning my face, a bit like a face wash. Because it acts as a Cleanser and face wash, there’s no need to remove make up first – as this does it for you, even waterproof mascara, which is great after a long day and you don’t want to use a make up remover AND a Cleanser. And because it’s so gentle, I’m able to use this no matter what is going on with my skin – whether I’m breaking out due to hormones or dry because I’ve had too much caffeine, this Cleanser works so well regardless. It’s one of those hero products that you reach for a lot more than you expect to. And as a good cleanser is so vital to a daily skincare regime, I highly recommend this as a product to start with from Fresh if you’ve never tried their things before.
So those are the new additions to my Fresh collection and I’m thrilled with all three. I’ve got my eye on the Vitamin C Glow Powder Next as I’ve heard Vitamin C Powders are brilliant for underneath the eyes!
Have you tried any Fresh products yet?
