How To Incorporate Starskin Into Your Existing Regime
When it comes to skincare I love trying new things out, but let’s be honest – we’ve all only got one face and there’s only so many products we can use regularly. So one thing I’ve been trying to do recently is use skincare products that can slot into my existing routine in addition to it – rather than replacing it. And the products in question are from Starskin.
The Starksin face masks have been a favourite of mine for a long time. I’ve featured them before on my blog because they’re so easy to use and as far as sheet masks go, they’re some of the nicest around. Face masks are easy to slot into an existing skincare regime because they can be used as often – or infrequently – as you like. If you’re in particular skincare need then you can use multiple masks at a time, or use a variation every day while you combat skin problems. Or you can go to the other extreme and use them once a month or even less. That’s why face masks are one of my favourite type of skincare products – you can adapt them to fit your lifestyle perfectly. And no matter what your skin type, there will be a mask to help.
The Starskin JuiceLab Razzle Dazzle Power C+ Booster Mask is one of my current regular additions for as-and-when I need a boost. Unlike previous sheet masks in the Starskin range, the JuiceLab variations are quirky because you have to mix them yourself. You have the physical face mask in one section and the product in the other. You then mix them together and apply the mask to your face. JuiceLabs masks are inspired by smoothie and fruit juices for how potent they are in delivering a healthy kick – and the masks are designed to give the same results in a skincare version. The one I’ve used most recently is a mix of raspberry and lentils and smelt gorgeous! For £8.50 this healthy-hit just adds a bit more hydration and brightness to the skin. And when it comes to incorporating new products into your existing regime, masks like this make it easy. An after-work calm time or Sunday evening pamper – no matter how often you use them, these add to your current skincare system with ease.
The next product I’ve been incorporating into my skincare regime is the Starskin 7-Second Morning Mask. Which sounds like another face mask but it’s not, it’s actually a really great everyday product. Not just is it great for everyday but it’s slotted into my day-to-day skincare perfectly. Used in the morning to prepare for the day ahead, this is best used after cleansing and toning. Each set comes with 20 pads and a pair of tweezers. The pads are removed with the tweezers and feature a pouch style side that hooks onto the fingers. The pads then have two textures – one is beaded and this acts as an exfoliator and toner. Gently buffing away anything that’s clogging the skin, this side prepares for the second step, which is the softer side. This side has the moisturising serum that plumps and boosts the skin, but overall just makes a great base for make up. While not just providing great skincare qualities, it also primes my skin perfectly for the day ahead.
I found these worked well after my morning face-clean and have added a nice step to my everyday skincare. And I think those who like a dewy finish to their make up will especially like this because it creates that glow to your skin that shines through the make up. It’s not often you find completely new products that can add something to your skincare regime but these both have. Now I just need to get my hands on some more Starskin masks for my next pamper session!
