My good friends over at Cult Beauty really have gone to town recently. In aid of their big 1-0 birthday we’ve had some fab events and offers, which has been the perfect way for everyone to enjoy the celebrations. First we had the Gift With Purchase last month which saw spends over £170 receive a Goody Bag with ten full sized products worth over £240! (Which I took FULL advantage of!) And then there’s been the individual special offers (like 15% off spends over £20 last week) and an amazing birthday party to boot.
Not just that though, the make up mecca celebrated with an absolutely AMAZING Birthday Box which was jam packed full of their favourite and best selling goodies from the past decade. You’ll have seen me do a whole Insta Live on this a few weeks ago, and so many of you were engrossed, as was I, because the contents really did blow me away. If any birthday was done in style, it was Cult Beauty’s 10th!
Seeing as it’s been their birthday, it’s worth a spree to treat yourself to some of the best products they have to offer, right? And so I’ll take you through the box, an item at a time and the year it was classed as a best-selling hero at Cult Beauty, and you can make up your own little shopping spree list. So while you can’t purchase the box as a whole, you can treat yourself to goodies inside!
2017 – Huda Beauty Rose Gold Palette (Remastered)
Okay, so I purchased this from Cult Beauty as soon as the remastered version came out. It just called my name and I couldn’t resist. But apparently, neither could a lot of people ! Hence why the Huda Beauty Rose Gold Remastered Palette is one of Cult’s beauty heroes of the year. The palette has made it’s comeback and I love that it was remastered based on feedback from customers saying the formula needed work. It’s now come back better than ever and it’s worth every penny. I’ll be doing a full review on this beauty, with a sneaky little competition too – so keep your eyes peeled!
2016 – Huda Beauty Liquid Matte Lipstick (Shade Icon)
I love that Huda Beauty gets two years worth of beauty hero status in this box, because in my eyes the brand fully deserve it. I’m a huge Huda fan and the Icon shade of her matte formula and best-selling liquid lipstick is a beaut. I swatched it on my Insta Live and so many of you said how gorgeous it was. It’s a deep peach/nude tone with a kick of rose so I can imagine it works for pretty much every skin tone. Plus Cult have a whole selection of other shades to pick from too.
2015 – Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel
I first used the Oskia Renaissance Cleansing Gel a few years back and I’m totally unsurprised that it’s a Cult Beauty hero. It’s Oskia’s best-selling product and has won an arm-full of awards – so if you’ve not tried it, you need to. With a hefty blend of vitamin A, B2, C and E as well as things like starflower oil, it’s easy to understand just how beneficial this is to the skin. Plus there’s two sizes available to pick from.
2014 – Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade
I only recently purchased my first ABH Dipbrow Pomade but I was on that bandwagon asap as soon as I did! It took a few purchases to find the perfect shade for me (Soft Brown or Caramel) but when I did, I could see why people rave about it. The texture and intensity of the colour it gives is second-to-none. It’s deep, professional level quality and it makes me feel like I’ve got a truly high performing product in my hands. And it’s the single product that creates wow-brows for me.
2013 – Anastasia Beverly Hills Brow Wiz
Before there was Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade, there was the Brow Wiz pencil. This pencil has the tiniest head but it packs a lot of punch! A perfect mix of pigment and wax, it creates fine strokes that mimic real hair, so your brows look naturally fuller when used. It has a spoolie on the opposite end to brush out the product and create a good looking brow! I swear by my Brow Wiz pencil now.
2012 – Alpha H Liquid Gold
Another product I tried years back and now never go without, is Alpha H Liquid Gold. This exfoliating treatment has honestly delivered more skincare results than most other products I’ve tried. It’s that powerful. I’ve reviewed it in full before, but safe to say that I recommend it to everyone. No matter what your skin type, you’ll look better within days of using this every other night.
2011 – RMS Beauty Living Luminizer
The first product in the Birthday Box that I hadn’t tried was this RMS cream highlight. The perfect pale white tone it’s designed to create a dewy glow that will highlight cheekbones perfectly. I like the cream formula and it’s something I’m going to be taking on holiday with me to use in the sunshine.
2010 – Moa The Green Balm
Now if you’ve not used MOA – The Green Balm, you’re going to need to try to – soon! It’s one of those wonder products that has about a million uses and everyone has a story to tell about it. It’s first-aid properties mean it’s not just good for skincare, removing make up and as a skin treatment, but it could even be used with hot water to gargle when you’ve got a sore throat! Products like this blow my mind, so I can see why it’s a Cult Beauty Hero.
2009 – Escentric Molecules Molecule 01
If you saw my live unboxing then you’ll have seen me talk about this because I’d never used it before. But jeez have I become obsessed with this. The Escentric Molecules Molecule 01 is a fragrance like no other I’ve ever had. It’s a pheromone matching fragrance – what that means is that it matches your natural skin pheromone and it creates a sultry scent that is unique to you. It’s deep, seductive and like the fragrance I’ve spent my whole life searching for. BIG fan of this one.
2008 – BeautyBlender
No Beauty Hero Box would be complete without the original beauty sponge, would it? BeautyBlender sponges have become more than a make up tool, they’re a make up staple now and as much as other brands try, everyone knows the BB as the original beauty sponge. I was in need of a new one to take on holiday so this arrived at the perfect time! Cult also have different colours available too.
Not just all these amazing goodies, inside the Birthday Box was a big ole’ tub of rock which went down very well and sits on my desk for a little work-day much. Plus a really fun one-off Cult Beauty magazine which was a lot of fun to read, as well as stickers and many more cute goodies. Cult Beauty really celebrated their birthday in style – and why not? They deserve every success because as one of the UK’s leading beauty destinations, there’s few who even come close to them.
So while you may not be able to buy the whole box (thank you for kindly sending me it Cult Beauty Babes!) You can pick out the goodies you like above and create your own little combination of birthday celebration goodies.
Here’s to the next ten years Cult Beauty!
