Current Top 5 Picks From Cult Beauty

When it comes to beauty shopping, I would say I spend a big chunk of my time and money at Cult Beauty. In fact, I say it’s the ‘UK online beauty mecca’, because you can get all the best brands and products there and I swear they have the fastest posting times of any beauty brand I’ve ever worked with! No seriously, my orders always arrive the very next day, no matter what time I place an order – it’s fantastic and compared to so many others, Cult Beauty top their delivery times but a lot! Plus they stock all of my favourite brands in one place, so I don’t need to shop around, just place one order each time for all my wish-list bits as well as my essentials.

Right now, things have been hotting up in the beauty world and Cult Beauty are at the forefront of making sure we can access that. The year seemed to start slowly, but now there seems to be launch after launch of gorgeous new goodies to try from so many different brands! The problem can be that it’s hard to know where to start, and where to get everything from, but Cult Beauty save the hassle and make it easy. With that said, right now they are stocking some insanely amazing launches and if you’re wondering which bits to pick up to re-do your make-up collection, then I’ve got you covered for the very best bits right now:

Too Faced Chocolate Gold Eyeshadow Palette (£39)

Any type of favourites list was always going to feature Too Faced, wasn’t it? As one of my favourite brands, their eyeshadow palettes come top of my list every time. The new Chocolate Gold Palette has been calling my name for quite a while and let me tell you – it’s every bit as gorgeous as you’d hope! Infused with real gold, the glitter and foil style shadows have insane colour payoff, they’re so pigmented and really impressive. Most of the shadows are foil finishes, but there’s a couple of matte shades too, which gives the perfect way of creating some stunning eye looks. Plus the shades are really complimentary because I don’t think there’s a single skin tone that couldn’t pull them off.

Another thing I like about this palette is that it’s got the right balance of shades to allow you to rock a foil eye look during the day as well as at night. Some people get scared about pulling off high-impact eye looks during the day but this palette is so complimentary that it’s going to take you from desk sassy to disco sassy without the need of any other shadows. Palettes like this really lend themselves to being great everyday staples. Plus it smells like chocolate and looks gorgeously pretty too – what’s not to love?!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Mini Matte Lipstick Set (£22)

Another one of my all-time favourite brands is Anastasia Beverly Hills (ABH) who can do no wrong in my eyes. And I am a magpie for all of their products – I gotta have ’em! Sadly matte lipsticks don’t always suit my lips, but the huge range of colours available in their matte lipsticks was too irresistible! This cute Mini Matte Set is perfect for trying the shades out and finding a new favourite before purchasing the full size. Sets like this tick all the boxes for me – they keep you current and up to date with the newest releases in beauty, give you a chance to try more than one shade before spending on the big sizes and they have the added novelty of being cute mini versions – which every girl loves. Included in this set are four shades, all on the pink spectrum, starting with a nude tone right through to a deep red/plum. This covers all skin tones and make-up occasions, and I’m a huge fan of Soft Pink and Kiss. At £5.50 each, there’s no way of getting your hands on ABH lippies cheaper, so I highly recommend this!

Becca Shimmering Skin Perfector (£32)

When it comes to highlighters, Becca are one of the very best in the business. So naturally, Cult Beauty are going to stock a fabulous selection of their goodies. The Vanilla Quartz Shimmering Skin Perfector is an absolute must-have right now for chiseled looking cheekbones and defined eyebrows. I am a huge fan of the Becca highlighters, I have quite a few shades so this one has made it’s welcome home in my collection. I like it because it’s a pale tone shade but it’s still got warmth in the colour, which means lots of skin tones would be able to get the very most out of it. A girl can never have too much highlight on, or too many highlighters in her collection!

Huda Beauty Smokey Obsessions Palette (£25)

I have been DESPERATE to try the Huda eyeshadows for ages now. Being a big fan of the Huda lahses, and eyeshadow palettes being probably my favourite type of make-up, well I was so excited when these compacts came out. There’s four to pick from and I was torn on which to use on this ‘top picks’ post but the Smokey Obsessions beat the others – slightly! I will forever be a smokey-eye kinda girl. I always smoke my eye looks, it just suits me to a tea, no matter what colour or make-up style I’m going for. Smokey eyes are my thing. So this palette really does allow me to create some gorgeous smokey and sultry looking eyes looks. I love the way there’s a black and dark gunmetal glitter, meaning you can go for a cool-toned smokey eye, or use the other warmer tones if you prefer that kind of colour temperature in your eye make up. The palettes may be diddy and cute but they pack a lot of punch! The pigmentation is crazy insane and has a high colour payoff – worth every single penny.

Beauty Blender x Too Faced Beauty Sleep Set (£27.50)

No ‘best of’ post would be complete with the best of the best beauty tools now would it? And we all know that Beauty Blender are the sponge with the mostest! Everyone, including me, raves about the Beauty Blenders so this gorgeous collaboration they have with Too Faced is a must for beauty lovers. Featuring two Beauty Blenders – one of the original sizes and one of the small ones (perfect for the eyes) they’re both a gorgeous pale pink tone and oh so pretty. The set also comes with two of the best selling Hangover products from Too Faced – a mini version of their 3-in-1 Setting Spray and a mini size Hangover Primer – which is one of my favourite primers ever. The kit is going to give you flawless looking make-up and great feeling skin. Plus it’s pretty and collabs are always nifty, so it’s a great one to pick up from Cult Beauty right mow!

So those are my current top five picks from Cult Beauty – and I love every single one. I make weekly wish lists from Cult Beauty, so my list is never ending, good job their postage costs are low, and their delivery times are quick – makes for a very happy beauty addict. Thank you Cult Beauty!
