New In From GlamGlow

You all know how much I rave about GlamGlow and I have worked my way through a lot of their gorgeous mud masks and started trying their daily skincare bits and pieces too. Last on my list was the Dream Duo Overnight Treatment and then suddenly GlamGlow were blowing my mind again as they released some great new products in close succession. Being the addict that I am, I couldn’t not try out the newness could I?!

I don’t know if it’s the sexy packaging or the fact that they make face masking look good, but GlamGlow are one of my favourite brand discoveries from last year. I’m like a little GlamGlow cheerleader with my flag everytime anyone ask for face mask recommendations! So anyway, out of their new goodies, I’ve been trying two. The first is their Supercleanse which combines all the best part of their charcoal based masks and products, with the ability of a daily cleanser. Pretty unique huh?

So the Supercleanse is a daily-use cleanser that goes on like a cream and as you rub into dry skin with wet hands, it creates a foam like texture. Containing a mix of three different types of charcoal, this offers skin the same cleansing abilities that you’re likely to get from a charcoal infused face mask. Being well known for detoxifying, charcoal products work to remove impurities by declogging pores and removing surface oils. The result is that the face looks clear and clean and charcoal products are an oily skin person’s dream. (Hence why I love them!)

GlamGlow Supercleanse Review, GlamGlow, Supercleanse,

I recommend using this alongside your existing skincare regime and maybe swapping out either your morning or evening cleanser with this. I find that twice a day use doesn’t sit as well, but once a day use is fantastic. The benefits of using in the morning are that my skin is prepped and primed ready for my make-up because the Supercleanse removes all traces of oil etc. My skin feels matte and even toned and I really notice how much nicer my make-up goes on.

If you’d prefer to switch out with your evening cleanser, you’ll find that it’s a great way to remove all those left behind traces of the day. I remove make-up before cleansing and toning, but you’ll still have left over residue of make-up, pollution etc in your pores. So a foaming cleanser with clearing abilities is the perfect way to remove all those deep, down nasties. If you don’t have sensitive skin, you may find you can use it twice daily, but for me, my perfect system is once. Grab the Supercleanse for £24.

Next on the New In list is the gorgeous Bubblesheet, and you guys know how much I love a good old sheet mask!

A bit different to the usual sheet masks I have, this one bubbles! It’s got a tingling sensation to match the bubbling and I love it for the novelty aspect alone! Other than the fun of making my kids laugh when I’m wearing it, this mask actually really makes my pores feel clean. It feels like an intensive mask because of the way it bubbles and tingles, but it’s got that sort of texture that gives you the confidence your skin will feel lovely after use. And mine does. I also love these because they only need to be on for 3 minutes before being removed, so they’re great when you don’t have a lot of time, but need a big hit of skincare!

It’s recommended to be a once weekly mask, and I’ve already purchased several more, which shows how much I like them. At only £7 each I think they’re a great way of being able to start using GlamGlow products as well. Grab the Bubblesheets from GlamGlow.
