My Top Pick From Benefit This Christmas – Gals Just Wanna Have Fun

It’s been a while since I featured Benefit here on the blog, but they’re never far from my daily beauty routine because I use their new Brow Range products every day. Having used Benefit since I was a teenager, I’ll always enjoy their products and can fully appreciate their girly and fun designs and styles. Plus, the products perform so well that it’s rare I’ve ever been disappointed with a Benefit product.

One time of year I look forward to as a self confessed Benebabe, is Christmas. Because the last few years has seen their Christmas range get more and more fun and quirky. From their advent calendars to their gift sets, Benefit continue to up their game in the Christmas beauty stakes. Having spent more time than I care to admit browsing the range, I finally decided on which set was my favourite for Christmas 2016 – and it’s the Gals Just Wanna Have Fun set.

Available exclusively from Boots, It’s my top pick, not just because it’s pretty darn cute to look at, but also because it’s got some of my all-time favourite Benefit products in it. And at £29.50 it doesn’t break the bank either, considering for this price you’d only usually be able to pick up two Benefit products, so it’s great value too.

The set itself is a complete make-up set, because there’s everything you need for a full face of make-up in this. From eyeshadows to lashes, right through to brows and cheeks – you’re pretty much covered with this gorgeous set. Plus theirs a nifty hints and tricks leaflet too.

For the eyes there’s three nude based shadows so pretty much everyone will be able to enjoy them. You can create a lovely everyday natural smokey eye by blending them together and the colour payoff is lovely, so they suit all skin tones. Complete with a double ended brush, you can apply them quickly and easily. After you’ve finished with the eyelids, you can move on to the lashes with the They’re Real mascara. It’s a mini sized version of the Benefit favourite, and the perfect size for keeping in your handbag.

Next up it’s time for brows with the Benefit Gimme Brow – one of my favourite brow products. In shade medium – it’s a universal shade and the brush applicator allows you to fluff up and fill out your brows. Brush it through and build the coverage you want.

After you’ve done the eye, move on to the face with the mini sized Hoola – the universal bronzing powder that I swear by. I use this on my body as well as face and really rate it as a bronzer because it adds a good pop of colour to my usually pale skin. Also comes with a application brush too.

If you also use blush as well as bronzer (like me) then there’s a mini sized Benetint. The cheek stain that only needs a few dots to get a perfect rosy cheek look. I started using this when I was 16 and always have a bottle on my dressing table – so this mini size is perfect for my handbag.

All of these products would individually set you back a small fortune, but for only £29.50 you’ve got a great range of products to play with. Plus the packaging is seriously quirky and cute, and perfect for Benebabes of any age!

Will a Benefit Christmas Set be making your list this year?
