I’ve been loving Kiko Milano this year and when I saw their Holiday 2016 Collection I was pretty obsessed from the get-go. Mostly because the packaging is just so festive – the red vibes and Christmas colours are sure to get you in the festive mood, and the products themselves are really cute too. It’s a win/win range for Christmas.
I’ve talked about Kiko a lot this year. First when I tried their Limited Edition Trend Collection and then again when I talked about my top picks from the Neo Noir range in the autumn. I’ve loved trying their collections this year and I’m certain I’m going to keep experimenting with their new launches because they’re always so lovely to try.
The Holiday 2016 Collection has make-up, skincare and gift sets all in one – so it ticks every box for being a great range to get involved with. The colours in the collection are all designed to be perfect for party season – lots of sultry looking eye products for a smokey eye and lots of seductive and alluring matching products for face and lips too. Plus the nail varnish collection in this range is absolutely spot on for Christmas nails too. Their Glitter Nail Lacquers are just so pretty and festive – I sported the Rich Gold shade and loved how highly pigmented it was – the glitter intensity is insane! And perfect for Christmas. It’s got a special gel formula which means that it’s super glossy and has a high shine finish. Which is just how I like my nails to look.
I’m absolutely loving the Double Colour Baked Blush in Lively Coral. It’s a gorgeous palette combining two shades of silky smooth highlighter and baked blusher. The blush adds colour to the cheekbones, while the gold shade highlights them perfectly. With vivid colour payoff, a little goes a long way and it’s a lovely pigmentation too. It’s silky and powdery to use, so it sits nicely on the skin without feeling heavy. Coming in a festive red compact, it’s also available in a more neutral rose shade too.
The Volumizing Effect Mascara is also a little essential that every girl needs for her clutch bag at the Christmas Party. It’s a good performance mascara with a lovely curling effect. What’s more is that it doesn’t clump together or flake (my pet hate with mascara) and the U shaped brush perfectly defines the lashes, making for a lovely and fanned out lash look.
But for me, my favourite of the whole collection is the Intense Colour Lip Kit. An exclusive kit containing lip pencil and matching lipstick, available in a choice of 12 colours. Ive got shade 05 Romantic Rose and it’s a really pretty pink shade, and the lipstick formula is just so creamy that it glides on, looks lovely with it’s got a high shine finish. The perfectly coordinating lip pencil creates a precision lip look – and for only £15 I feel these are excellent alternatives to more expensive lip kits on the market.
There’s a whole host of other products in the range too – from eyeshadow palettes to eye pencils and even brushes and a fragrance. I highly recommend that you make the Kiko Holiday 2016 Collection, a range you don’t miss out on.
