Studio 10 Does Christmas

Studio 10 are a brand I was introduced to earlier this year and I’ve been a big advocate of their products since. Innovative, a bit different from everything else, as well as high performing, I’m always excited to try more of their range. So when I saw that they were launching some new products for Christmas, I was very excited to give them a go. I’m a sucker for a good Christmas set!

This year it seems like everyone in beauty has gone mad for Christmas Sets. I’ve got a wish-list as long as my arm, and I swear it seems like the limited edition, and festive one-offs are better than ever. Studio 10 are no exception because their Christmas selection is on point for the beauty lovers among us. I personally love their products because they’re perfect for creating the natural base look I like for everyday make-up looks. There’s nothing harsh about their products, they’re easy to use, easy to blend and have a buildable nature that means you can go from barely-there-beauty, to showstopping glamorous in just a few steps.

Here’s what Studio 10 are bringing to the bottom of a Christmas Tree near you this year…

Eyes To Mesmerise Limited Edition Contour & Essential Shadow Set

Christmas and party season takes it’s toll on the eyes – they can look tired, dull and lacking in radiance. But this gorgeous little kit will combat all of those signs and work to reverse the appearance of the morning after the Christmas party! It includes the Visible Lift I-Definer which is a really nifty little eye contour and radiance kit. I’ve not seen anything else like this – it’s a kit which is effectively a contour set for your eyes. Cool huh? It contains a cream eye primer to prepare for the accompanying 4 eyeshadows. All of which are targeted shades to create a perfectly contoured eye look – to create the appearance of awake eyes – a sure fire way to cheat the effects of party season this year. The eyeshadows are all blendable and easy to apply, with a good colour payoff. Perfect for everyday wear. Not only does the initial primer smooth fine lines, it holds the shadow in place all day, so this little kit really is a handbag essential.

The Christmas kit also contains the I-Lift Longwear Liner in Mocha. A dual ended pencil with a mocha shade liner to outline your eye look. Along with a magical flesh shade to line the colour and create the awake and fresh look that helps to turn back the clock and combat tired looking eyes. It’s ultra creamy and lovely to blend, but light enough too that it doesn’t smudge or move when it’s not supposed to.

The combined value of these products is £54 but the Set is only £29 – an absolute bargain and must have. I class both of these as absolute eye essentials – you can get yours here.

Your Best Angle Set – Limited Edition Contour and Brighten

Contouring made easy with this fabulous gift set! Your Best Angle Set is the ideal palette for those who are new to contouring, or intimidated by the prospect. Or quite frankly – if you’re someone like me and need quick contouring on the go – because it’s all so easy to use. The set includes the Visible Lift Face Definer palette which has two contour shades and a blush shade to help create the shadows that have made contouring an essential make-up step.

The powder isn’t a bronzer, or heavy on the shimmer, but a blue based powder that creates natural looking contour. Its soft matte finish also means there’s no harsh lines, so you can have the most gentle and subtle of contours. It’s perfect for me as I’m so pale that I sometimes find it difficult to get the right balance when I contour, so this is absolutely perfect. Plus, my Mum is a big fan too because she’s older, she’s a bit daunted by contouring, but this really helped her ease into it.

The set also comes with their wonderful double ended brush for smooth application. Together these two would cost £58 but the set is only £25 – another absolute essential. Get it here.

The great value of these sets means in my humble beauty opinion, they’re fantastic for Christmas gifts and treats for yourself. If you’ve not tried any of the Studio 10 Products before, these are a great place to start. I’ve never found a brand whose products work for me (my style being heavy, full coverage make-up) and also for my mum (who’s make-up reflects her age: she wears it lighter and wants it to help with the signs of aging) but Studio 10 have been a discovery we’ve both adored this year.

Plus they’re cruelty free – bunny ears and all, and their products are loved by make-up artists everywhere. You really can’t go wrong with Studio 10.

This posts contains gifted items, but as ever all opinions are entirely my own. Please refer to my Disclaimer page for more details.
