Michael Kors Sexy Blossom Review

I'm a perfume addict, and a perfume snob. I've got really high standards when it comes to the perfumes I pick. And in fact it was only yesterday that I was asked what my favourite fragrances are. The first thing I replied with was "Michael Kors fragrances are some of my favourites" and it's true because the range of scents are just spot on what I look for in a fragrance: musky, sweet and girly. And all of the Michael Kors fragrances I've got are that little bit unusual and different. I've got so many on my dressing table but I've always got room for new additions because I've yet to find one that I don't like.

The newest addition in my collection is Michael Kors Sexy Blossom, which has been my go-to perfume over the last few months. It's a light and refreshing, floral fragrance that reminds me of spring, but without it only being exclusive to that season. I'm loving this now for autumn because it's got those floral tones that remind me of spring flowers but with a woody tone too - meaning it's a lovely scent for all seasons. It's woody tone creates the musk-like scent element I love in Michael Kors fragrances and it's combined with a light, sweet, floral edge that's uber girly and flirty. It just feels fun and feminine to wear. And as a self confessed girly-girl, that's perfect for me.

When you try the fragrance itself, you'll quickly pick up different layers to the scent. With top notes of lychee and rose petals, you'll first notice the floral tones. Then you'll probably catch that woody musk from its undertone of sandalwood. As the day wears on I also find it easier to catch the peony and orchid tones too - like I said, it's a lovely floral fragrance.

One of the things that never disappoints with Michael Kors fragrances is how long they last. I don't like weak perfume - what's the point?! I want something I can smell all day. And Sexy Blossom is great for that, I give myself a good spritz in the morning and can smell it strongly until lunch time and only need a light refresh to get me through the rest of the day. To me, that's the way you measure the quality of a perfume.

So, if you like floral tones but don't want to smell like a field of flowers, this is perfect for you! Michael Kors have combined floral - with flirty and fun (thanks to their musk level.) I find for me the musk is what sets Sexy Blossom apart from other floral perfumes. It makes it sultry and seductive, but retains that fresh element that you'll be wanting if you pick floral fragrances.

The perfect pairing of floral and musk tones, Sexy Blossom is a lovely fragrance to take you through spring and summer and into the autumn months too. A big hit from me.

Have you tried a Michael Kors fragrance? What's your favourite?
