Estee Lauder Pure Color Love Lipstick

Estee Lauder are one of those brands I'll forever be loyal to. My Mum first introduced me to them when I started wearing make-up and I've not looked back since. Everything from their make-up to their skincare has passed my dressing table and I still to this day use some of their products as my daily staples. Estee Lauder are just one of those brands that always deliver the goods - and their impeccable quality means they're on a pedestal that all other brands are constantly compared to.

My HUGE Spring Make-Up Haul!

Once a year I do a HUGE make-up haul. I usually do it in October/November so the really good Christmas sets have been released and you're fresh into Black Friday sales too. However with a baby due in the summer, meaning I'll be broke by Christmas...well, spring it was for this year's big haul! Now I'm not saying that I don't buy make-up at any other time - you all know I do! But this once-a-year haul is something I save for, have a clear out for and generally look forward to a hell of a lot more than Christmas itself.

Three Clarins Body Products You Need In Pregnancy

Being five months pregnant is wonderful - there's a little boy kicking me like mad, keeping me awake at night and giving me the most amazing summer treat to look forward to - that first cuddle is going to be amazing. But pregnancy is not my favourite thing, and it really can (and does) take it's toll on your body. Not just with extreme tiredness and sickness, but in ways you aren't prepared for. Mostly things like the fact that the hair around your face really thins out and grows back in unruly curls that resemble horns. Yep, FACT. The other thing that faces major change is your skin. I'm not just talking on the face, I'm talking all over. And it's hard to combat.

7 Spring Beauty Essentials

I'm so pleased that the weather is finally warming up. I even managed to go out in sandals last week for the first time without my toes feeling so cold and like they'd fall off. It's a miracle! (I'm always freezing.) Spring brings a bit of a smile to everyone doesn't it? It brings flowers, blue skies and a bit more optimism than most of us have had in a while thanks to the constant cold and grey clouds of winter. Spring also brings the perfect opportunity to refresh your beauty regime, include some new make-up shades in your collection and it also means there's a few products you need to start using from a health perspective too. Dang, it's not easy being a girl right?!

The PR's Guide To Blogging - Finding The Fake Followers

So there is a huge amount of noise right now about people cheating their social media numbers with bots and outright buying followers. And rightly so, because it's pretty outrageous. Being the blogging world that it is, there's also a lot of people stirring the pot, making things worse and generally misinforming about this matter. Which quite frankly helps no-one. Naming and shaming does nothing (although I can see the potential satisfaction that could be earned from doing so), and 'outing' those who do it or have done it, is also not the wisest thing in the world. Remember, your blog is your brand and your social media platforms are your voice - regardless of what anyone else is doing remember that if you sit online and 'out' bloggers, YOU look petty to brands and PR's. It's the sad truth, and while it might not be fair, if you make too much noise about something other people are doing then it actually has a negative impact on your own brand. The same can be said for those I've seen this morning making comments about being so disillusioned by the negativity, when one check shows they are one of the bloggers indeed using bots. PR tip #1: if you're doing it right now, perhaps don't sit and pretend you don't. Inauthenticity kills your reputation just as much.

An Introduction to Jo Loves - Pomelo

As far as I'm concerned, Jo Malone MBE can do no wrong. Not only did she create the gorgeous fragrances I love from Jo Malone, but a few years ago she then founded Jo Loves, a new fragrance brand with a whole selection of different fragrances to discover. Which to me is fabulous because it's twice the fun.

Clinique Pep-Start Hydroblur and Blend It Yourself Drops - A 2 step Instagram Filter For Your Face

Ever heard the sayings about finding what you were looking for without even knowing you were looking for it? It's often said about great loves and solutions to problems that we didn't even know we had - and both are relevant in this case to me.

Easter Egg Alternatives For Under £10

It's almost time for the Easter Bunny to hop back into our lives for another year. But what happens if chocolate isn't your 'thing' or you just don't want to over indulge on the sweet stuff? Well, in my house we don't go mad for Easter Eggs, and I like to look for alternatives to make a change from the usual eggs. I also don't like to go mad financially - I don't think Easter should be like another Christmas for my son, so I don't tend to spend big either way. So this Easter here's my three top Easter Egg alternatives for under £10.

Top Tips To Affording A Beauty Addiction

If you're anything like me, you're a sucker for make-up and beauty products. From cute and funky make-up brushes, to gorgeous eyeshadow palettes and new treats in the skincare world - I want it all. I literally spend a large portion of my time thinking about make-up I want to buy, watching YouTube tutorials on the latest trends and reading blog posts talking about the new products on the market. The downside of having an expensive make-up habit is that it's really hard to justify spending out fortunes on make-up. Especially when there's bills to pay, life to afford, and in my case - a baby on the way! So I've had to think of all the ways round my make-up habit costing me a fortune, and start to be a bit more frugal. Because affording a costly make-up habit is so much more than just shopping the sales! So here's my top tips for affording a beauty addiction, and making your make-up money go further...

Glam Glow - The New Way To Face Mask

I've been really looking forward to writing this blog post because I've been itching to try GlamGlow products since I first heard about them. As a self-confessed pamper loving, face mask wearing Sunday Skincare lover, well, I wanted to see what the lowdown was on the face masks everyone's been talking about. I can't remember where I first heard about them, but as soon as I did, I was in love with the sexy and sleek packaging and the BIG promises on providing excellent quality skincare in the face mask market.

Spring Scents - DSquared2 Want Fragrances

The change in seasons always brings about the desire to change your signature scent. For me, shifting from the sultry cold weather means I want to leave behind my deep and musky perfumes in favour of something a bit more fruity and spring/summer like. I know lots of people are like this - we all tend to have our daily staples - the ones we rely on all year round, but then the change in seasons mean we tend to go to our seasonal picks for a few months to mix things up. (I'm hoping this isn't just me because my perfume shelf is positively bulging!)
