Gemporia Jewellery

You guys know how much I love jewellery. It's one of my purchasing loves, mostly because I have a magpie like attraction to all things pretty! I also love jewellery because my fashion style is very much along the lines of: basic clothing, styles and trends, using jewellery to spice up my outfits. Jewellery can add a twist on any outfit, and the better the jewellery, the better you're outfit will look. So with that said, I'm always on the lookout for new brands who bring a little something different to the jewellery table...

Gemporia are my latest jewellery discovery and I couldn't be happier that my jewellery box now contains one of their pieces. When they reached out to me, I was so spoilt for choice on their website that it took me a full day of browsing to be able to decide which item to try. And I now have a wish list as long as my arm thanks to the decision making process.

Not heard of Gemporia before? Well, they are a brand making big waves in the jewellery world and they've already been featured in Vogue and Elle - which in my opinion is a standard that only the best will achieve. But what I like about Gemporia is that all of their jewellery is made from only gemstones and precious metals - nothing cheap looking and nothing fake that's going to leave a discoloured line on you when it's worn. (Seriously, that's my pet hate with rings!) The next best thing is that their pieces are only ever made in limited runs. So when you find a piece you like on the website, you'll be able to see how many were in your run. I think this is a really special twist on the usual purchase experience because the scarcity means you really feel like you're getting something rare,  something that not many other people will have. There's none of the mass produced ranges that you find in other places. And there's no better feeling than originality when it comes to fashion, right?!

The piece that I finally managed to narrow down to was this beautiful Rose Quartz Sterling Silver Aryonna Ring, which is absolutely stunning! Rose Quartz is one of my favourite jewellery gems and I tend to wear a lot more silver than gold traditionally, so I've been getting a lot of wear out of it already, in fact there hasn't been a day yet when I've not worn it. Which shows it's getting full marks from me.

A large, feature ring with shaped Rose Quartz, this ring sits really nicely and compliments the style I go for during the day - it's very classic and professional. It's really comfortable and was one of a 97 production run, so I feel like I've got something really unique when  I wear it. Which always adds a feel-good factor.

The other great thing about jewellery from Gemporia is the price. Because quite honestly, that's always a key factor in any purchasing decision right? Not only do Gemporia only produce limited production runs to avoid run-of-the-mill jewellery that everyone's got, they also believe that jewellery should't cost the earth - so their prices have a guarantee that won't be beaten. And they are very realistic and good value with items starting at less than £15 - so there's something for every budget.

The lovely people at Gemporia also work really closely with The Colourful Life Foundation, a charity who work with those in the areas where the gems are found. They work to aid the communities with education and support, which is something that I am more passionate about as I get older, mostly because now that I'm a Mummy, I strongly believe all children should have access to education and have their basic needs met. Brands who do things like this far exceed their competitors in my opinion, and would always be the swaying factor in any purchasing decision for me.

So, their jewellery is high end, fashionable and bang on trend, and it's limited in numbers - so you can really say you've got something unique. The materials are only ever top of the range and high quality - nothing fake here. The price is always the lowest you'll get, and very reasonable too. And they work with charities linked to their brand - what more could you want when it comes to jewellery shopping?!
